Ms. Nicole McCoy has proven to be a leader wherever she goes and in whatever she does. She constantly seeks opportunities that are challenging but allows for growth. Nicole has a wealth of knowledge and experience in Information Technology, Business Operations, Project Management and Sales. She currently works at Digital Insight an Intuit Company as a Project Manager. Prior to working Digital Insight she worked at Cingular as a Systems Analyst and as an application Support Manager at UPS e-Logistics. Nicole was responsible for overseeing management of the billing system which fed into Oracle Financials through the billing engine interfacing to Account Receivables and Account Payables. She worked as an independent real estate consultant where she gathered customer requirements and negotiated contracts for homebuyers and sellers. Also, Nicole worked as a Business Operations Manager for a non-profit organization that involved training staff, conducting and planning homeownership workshops from 1993 to1997. Ms. McCoy is committed to using her life to empower the lives of others. She has accomplished this through volunteering her time at the Women’s Resource Center to End Domestic Violence - Junior Achievement; volunteered as mentor for Cingular’s Job Shadow Day; facilitated “Success Skills,” a 10-week Junior Achievement Course designed to teach “At Risk” high school students how to develop successful problem-solving strategies for the workplace. While at Cingular, Nicole started a Chapter of Cingular's Diversity Organization for Women, and was the Atlanta Chapter president; Joining the Atlanta Women’s Foundation: Faith, Feminism and Philanthropy Round table exploring ways to improve the conditions of women and children in Atlanta. She has been quite an active member of St. James United Methodist Church (1800 members)in Alpharetta, Georgia. Nicole is currently a layperson. She chaired the Membership Committee, (a team of 18 volunteers) for 3 years. The Membership Committee is responsible for maintaining membership records, all day-to-day operations, receiving new members, and facilitating new member classes. Ms. McCoy has served as a Communion steward, member of the choir, technology, and hospitality committees, as well as secretary of the women’s ministry. Nicole’s life was changed in October 2005 when she embarked upon a journey of a lifetime. She went with 11 members of St. James on a mission to Ghana. The mission was to deliver medical supplies; assist in building a house for a pastor, conduct children and adult bible study sessions and open micro funding bank. Nicole also preached to a group of college students and Bethel Methodist Church in Navrongo Ghana. Her message to the Ghanaians was one on God’s hope, faith and love. It was truly an experience of a lifetime. She holds a Master of Information Degree from American InterContinental University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Operations from DeVry Institute of Technology.
